Job Description / Duties

As an SGI Motor License Issuer, you are the first point of contact at our offices. A friendly and positive mindset, a good team player who works well both independently and with others, and computer proficiency are qualities we are looking for in our successful candidate.

SGI New Issuer Training as well as a few other courses are required for this position.

Duties include:
- Motor License Issuing (vehicle registrations, renewals, scheduling driver appointments, licenses) in accordance with laws and regulations.
- Answering & directing phone calls, including assisting with resolving any issues or concerns related to motor license issuing
- Processing payments/deposits and oversee office organization
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions to ensure integrity of our office
and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Required Skills

- Computer proficient; fluency with Microsoft Office programs an asset
- Communicates well both verbally and written
- Respectful and mindful of others’ personal information – able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Willing to learn and grow with Green Teal Insurance
- Experience in the insurance industry would be an asset, but not necessary.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and reference check.

There is plenty of opportunity for advancement at Green Teal Insurance Brokers Ltd. – to Personal Lines broker (home and auto insurance) or Commercial Lines brokers (farm and business insurance).
