Whether for ambiance or for heating, solid fuel burning appliances are a common addition to Prairie homes. If not properly installed and maintained, they can be a major cause of residential fires. Solid fuel-burning appliances in all their variations require extra care and handling by insurance brokers and their clients.
Brokers that complete this webinar will discover the many types of solid-fuel heating appliances including wood, pellet, and biomass units. Participants will also gain an understanding of the operation, maintenance, and insurance concerns for solid fuel appliances.
This webinar is eligible for two (2) CE credits, and is presented in partnership with the Insurance Brokers Association of Manitoba (IBAM).

- Assist participants to effectively perform front-line risk identification and underwriting duties; and
