About ICPEI
Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Charlottetown, ICPEI is one of the largest property and casualty insurers based in the Maritimes. It is a member of the Property & Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation, the Facility Association of Canada, as well as the Insurance Bureau of Canada; and, in 2024, was acquired by Desjardins Group.
In Western Canada, ICPEI currently writes non-farm commercial lines business only. It participates on whole risk, and as both a lead and contributor on subscription policies.
