Candidates are allowed to write online exams any day and at any time. However, IBAS does suggest that writing when the IBAS office is open (Mon – Fri, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.) is always best.
Note: IBAS is only allowed to help with technical questions.
*all steps must be completed no later than 2PM on the 3rd business day prior to the exam date chosen.
Step 1: Register via our online exam registration form.
*IBAS receives a copy of your registration by email automatically.
*Note – the email typed in the registration is used for exam results, confirmation, and receipts.
Step 2: Email or fax in the proctor nomination form to IBAS.
*Please send asap after completing the online exam registration.
* IBAS will be closed from Oct. 10 – Oct. 15 for our annual Convention. Please email the proctor nomination form, as we will not have access to our fax machine.
Step 3: If you did not enter payment directly on the online registration it is required that you either phone in the payment information or mail in a cheque to Captus Press.
*For administrative purposes – all exam registrations and payments must be received by Captus Press at least 3 business days prior to the exam date you choose.

Proctors must meet IBAS requirements. IBAS accepts the following proctors:
- A Saskatchewan Level 3 Licensee
- Educational Professional (i.e. teachers)
- Government Administrator (i.e. librarians, town hall staff)
All examinations must be written at the invigilators work place and they must provide their work email on the proctor nomination form.
If you would like to choose IBAS as your proctor please contact the Education/Professional Development department to schedule an exam date.

You can retrieve your online exam receipt here.
(It may require up to two business days after your payment was received before your receipt will be available.)
You will need your exam confirmation code in order to access the receipt.
