The 2019 Saskatchewan Summit of Young Insurance Professionals brings together brokers, underwriters, adjusters, and other insurance stakeholders at similar stages of their careers for a one-day forum focused on relationship-building, professional development, and best practices sharing.
There is no cost to attend; however, last year’s inaugural event attracted a capacity crowd of roughly 120 registrants, so reserve your spot early, as space is limited! As special thank you to our Presenting Partners:
When and where?
Thursday, April 4, 2019
Sheraton Cavalier Hotel | Saskatoon, SK
Registration begins at 10 a.m. | Program gets underway at 10:30 a.m.
The summit is absolutely free to attend, and is ideally timed for out-of-town guests traveling in for the SGI CANADA Convention, which runs April 5 – 6 in Saskatoon. IBAS members are also eligible to receive up to four continuing education credit hours.
Who is invited and how do I register?
Any young professional employed in Saskatchewan’s insurance industry is welcome to take part. While there are no specific age restrictions to this event, content will be tailored to individuals under the age of 40.
What should I wear?
Last year, attendees adorned their favourite sports jerseys and raised more than $1,240 to support victims of the Humboldt Broncos tragedy. This year, don your green and white and best Saskatchewan Roughriders gear to help raise money for the Canadian Red Cross Imagine No Bullying campaign.
