2026 Initiatives
Carrier Technology Meetings
On June 2 & 3, the IBAS Technology Committee will be sitting down with senior leaders from many of the top insurers operating in Saskatchewan, with objective of:
- Gaining clarity on each carrier's specific technology priorities as well as their broader technology roadmaps — and how they may impact Saskatchewan brokerages in the selection, implementation, and usage of their own tech stack;
- Understanding progress in implementing the refined CSIO eDoc standards; and
- Facilitating dialogue on collaborative technology opportunities that may be advanced to drive efficiencies and improve customer experience.
Following the meetings, a high-level report-out for each carrier will be produced and distributed to IBAS member principals.
BrokerStack Technology Forum
Slated of Thursday, October 15, in Regina (the day prior to the 2026 Leaders Summit), the BrokerStack Technology Forum is IBAS's first-ever in-person event dedicated entirely to brokerage technology. This gathering will bring together IBAS members, suppliers, carriers, and thought leaders from across the insurance value chain for an interactive day of networking, learning, and exploration. Delegates will hear directly from insurtech leaders, gain insight into emerging solutions, and discuss trends that will impact the entire P&C marketplace.
