Through the generosity of our members and partners, including our Annual Campaign Partner, Wawanesa Insurance, IBAS has contributed $223,781.49 since 2021 to local projects, schools, and registered not-for-profit organizations, through the #BrokersCare Community Fund. Some of of our recent funding recipients include: Jim Pattison Children's Hospital Foundation, Sask Girls United, Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan, SCEP Centre, Heart Linked Community Services Co-operative, Regina Food Bank, and the Saskatoon Industry Education Council.

What We Support

The #BrokersCare Community Fund supports charities and grassroots community projects throughout the province that align with at least one of four priority pillars:

  • Responding to the youth mental health crisis;
  • Enhancing equitable access to children’s learning and development opportunities;
  • Providing comfort, care, and hope to sick kids; and
  • Eliminating food insecurity for at-risk youth.

That said, we are all about responding to community need, and are willing to consider other causes that directly and meaningfully support the cities, towns, and villages that our members call home.

How We Raise Funds

100% of #BrokersCare funding is raised through voluntary contributions from Saskatchewan brokers, brokerage businesses, and insurance industry partners, including via direct donations, designated activations at IBAS events, sponsorships, and through other special initiatives, such as the annual #BrokersCare T-Shirt Campaign.
