Job Description / Duties

-Provide back-end support in creation of all above documents for Commercial brokers and account executives including:
- Performing driver checks
- Create certificates in policy works program
- Commercial Invoicing
- Create letters for renewals when received – hand in hand with invoicing function.
- Review upcoming renewals at 120 days, discuss any questions with commercial brokers in preparation of request for renewal information.
- Create statement of values or vehicles and driver list if not already saved in commercial client folder
- Review activity on account required to send out the pre-renewal including last year’s gross revenues, operations so that we can confirm if any changes to client operations. Review policy to make recommendations for missing coverages.
- Request renewal information from clients including:
- Statement of values
- Vehicle and driver lists
- Any changes to operations
- Estimated annual gross revenues
- Coverage recommendation of missing coverages as identified in meeting with broker
- Attach cyber/equipment breakdown/D&O drop sheet to renewal request
- When requesting renewal information for professional or directors & officers’ liability, attach last years completed application as reference to complete for coming year; ask for updated financials as required by D&O insurers
- Submit renewal information from client once reviewed by broker, to the insurer for renewal quotations including any optional coverage requests.
- Provide renewal quote to broker to discuss with client – broker may ask that proposal be created in policy works.

Qualifications / Required Skills

-A CAIB 3 Broker License is a must for this role.
-A demonstrated focus on customer care, with an ability to listen and understand a client’s concerns in order to find them a suitable solution.
