The IBAS Community Leadership Award is one of the Saskatchewan insurance industry’s highest honours. Founded in 2019, this special recognition celebrates one P&C brokerage or broker each year that has gone above and beyond to make a difference in their community. These contributions may be in the form of volunteerism, philanthropy, and/or demonstrated impact on the advancement of the broker profession.

Nominations are solicited from IBAS members, partners, and the general public. A recipient is then selected by an independent committee consisting of prominent business leaders from throughout the province.

2026 Nominations

Nominations are now open for the 2026 IBAS Community Leadership Award, presented by SGI CANADA. This year's recipient will receive a $7,400 cash donation (to mark IBAS's 74th anniversary) to the charity, not-for-profit, or community initiative of their choice. The winner will be announced at the 2026 IBAS Leaders Summit on October 16 in Regina.
