Westland Insurance Group Ltd. O/A Smith Agencies in Melfort has an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Advisor Trainee! We are looking for a mature, responsible person with an excellent work ethic and customer service skills to be a part of our team. Prior experience with insurance or SGI motor licensing is an asset, but not required, as we are willing to train the right individual. You will be responsible for motor license issuing, as well as general office duties in a fast-paced office environment. As an Insurance Advisor Trainee, you will be committed to developing a career in the insurance industry and will work toward a Level 1 Insurance license. An individual with a current or prior insurance license will be considered for a position as a Personal or Commercial Lines Insurance Advisor.

Qualifications / Required Skills

- Insurance experience or motor licensing experience an asset, but not required
- Prior customer service experience
- Basic computer skills
- Organized and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
