Job Description / Duties

The ideal candidate would have experience in the insurance industry as an insurance broker or motor licence issuer, with responsibility for the promotion of home, auto, health and travel insurance to potential clients and existing customers. This role is ideally suited towards someone that is passionate about the insurance industry or continued education, is detail oriented, a team player and is committed to providing the best experience for our customers.

What will you do in the role?
• Provide Saskatchewan auto licensing sales and services including personal driver’s licence photos, motor licencing registration and renewals, and sell personal auto insurance
• Provide advice, create quotes, and present options to customers about their insurance coverage enabling them to make decisions on a range of personal lines insurance (driver’s licence, motor licencing, auto, home, condo, liability, tenant and travel)
• Prepare renewals, re-market applications and endorsements in a timely manner
• Communicate with multiple clients daily in person, online, via phone, and by email
• Contact clients and explain features and coverage on their insurance policies, recommending amount and type of coverage based on analysis of their needs
• In the event of a loss or claim, liaise with insurance companies to assist policy holders settle claims
• Work within the Microsoft business suite specifically Word and Excel, our broker Management system, and other company software as needed

• SGI Motor License Issuer Course
• Restricted Auto
• CAIB I would be an asset but not required.
