Job Description / Duties

We are looking for an organized and experienced individual who is interested in joining our growing team at our Martensville location. We are seeking a full time Motor License Issuer with prior insurance experience. In this position, the successful candidate will use their industry knowledge and experience to assist our team serving clients and representing Lakeview Insurance in every transaction. We are looking for an individual with an excellent work ethic, who enjoys being part of a team, and is able to share new ideas in a fast paced work environment.

• Performing customer transactions for vehicles and drivers licenses.
• Contacting SGI Head Office on behalf of clients when required.
• Maintaining a helpful and positive manner when dealing with customers and all industry related personnel.
• Answering phones, filing, message forwarding, entering notes in broker management system, etc.
• Organizing files; paper and digital.
• Assist in pulling files or information when required and updating client information into files.
• Assisting with the ordering and stocking of brochures and supplies in the office.
• Organizing supplies and brochures in the storage area in back of the office.
• Cover Saturday shifts (9-3) as scheduled.
• At all times and with all tasks, continuously seek to improve upon the quality and efficiency of the work performed. This will mean that you will find better ways to do things and to recognize that how it’s always been done is not the best way. We not only welcome suggestions on how we can improve, we expect them.
• Take courses as necessary or requested in order to stay on top of the industry and the in order to positively impact the work you do.

Qualifications / Required Skills

• Previous Motor License Issuing experience would be considered an asset and will be given preferential treatment.
• Ability to maintain a professional and confident manner when dealing with clients and industry related professionals.
• Ability to complete work in a fast paced environment and keep up with evolving technologies and regulations.
• Microsoft Office knowledge and capability including email.
• Ability to work well independently with very little direct supervision.
• Ability to take direction and communicate progress.
• Exceptional Organizational skills.
• Ability to keep information Confidential.
