CAIB 1 Immersion (e-Delivery via Zoom)

April 17 - 23, 2021

When it comes to CAIB Immersion, IBAS and West Coast Training had to quickly come up with a new ‘normal’ for the delivery of the popular learning option. IBAS is happy to announce that the e-delivery Immersion course will continue.

Through our partnership with West Coast Training's Todd Hochban, we are able to replicate the same quality of learning and student experience that you would ordinarily receive in the classroom, but using the Zoom videoconferencing platform. Todd will mix his trademark instruction style with breakout assignments and other activities to ensure students are fully prepared to write the CAIB 1 exam.

Registration deadline is 2 p.m. April 12th, 2021!

When will this take place?

This virtual intake will run April 17 – 23, 2021. There will be a short orientation at 6:30 p.m. April 17, followed by classes running Sunday-Friday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The only difference from our regular in person Immersion is there will not be a dedicated exam day on April 24. The exam will need to be administered by a qualified proctor at a date that is convenient for you, or through IBAS at a later time.

What equipment will I need?

Other than the CAIB 1 textbook, all you need to take advantage of this option is a computer with reliable internet access. For individuals who may have slower connection speeds, you may choose to mute your computer speakers and microphone, and use telephone-based audio (although you would continue to leverage the visual aspect of the delivery).

While a webcam is strongly encouraged (many devices have cameras built-in), it is not mandatory.

Anything else I need to know?

If you sign up, and the technology or methodology doesn't happen to work for you, that's not a problem — you can cancel before the course resumes on the morning of April 19 for a full refund.

We hope you will consider this new option.
