Introduction to Lean for Insurance Brokerages (Virtual Seminar)

March 17, 2021, 1:30 - 3:00 PM

Presented by Red River Mutual

Lean methodology is often thought of as being within the exclusive purview of manufacturing. The simple concept however — reducing waste while adding value for customers — has universal application, and has been successfully adopted by some of Canada’s most successful non-industrial businesses, ranging from insurance and financial services to real estate and retail.

Join experts from the Lean Practitioners Association of Saskatchewan (LPAS) as they introduce you and your brokerage to the fundamentals of lean thinking. You will receive a brief history of lean as well as an overview of its core principles, and will take part in a virtual group breakout session to begin applying basic process improvement concepts.

This session eligible for 1 CE credit hour. Please note that this is an interactive session — and, as such, a functional camera and microphone are required.
