2025 IBAS Annual General Meeting
April 3, 2025
In accordance with IBAS By-law No. 1, the next Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of members will be held from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Sheraton Cavalier Hotel (Top of the Inn Ballroom) in Saskatoon.
Please note that this is the same day as the 2025 CAIB Graduates Dinner (at the Remai Modern art gallery) and the day prior to the start of the SGI CANADA Brokers Convention.
Background Information
At the 2023 AGM, members voted to change the IBAS fiscal year to align with the calendar year, beginning on January 1, 2025.
Therefore, IBAS the AGM will now be held in the March – April timeframe going forward. This will be the first AGM held in that timeframe.
Agenda
At this members-only meeting, brokerage members will:
- Approve financials for the association's special five-month 'fiscal year' for the period ending December 31, 2024;
- Receive an update on and discuss key IBAS advocacy files;
- Provide input into strategic IBAS operational priorities;
- Make decisions on IBAS governance issues; and
- Hear from invited guest speakers (to be announced).
An official meeting package will be made available electronically prior to the meeting.
Attendance
Due to limited seating capacity, one individual from each IBAS member brokerage is eligible to register at this time. This representative should be the Voting Delegate identified in the brokerage's IBAS membership profile — or a proxy on behalf of that individual.
There is no cost to participate but registrants must sign up in advance.
