Virtual Roundtable: The Next-Generation Insurance Workforce

May 1, 2020

Event_Images/1U8A8906.jpgFor many brokerages, COVID-19 has fundamentally changed how employees work — from how they service their clients and pursue new business, to how they interact with carriers and other staff. Whether these changes will endure in the long-term or dissipate with an eventual ‘return to normal’ remains to be seen. But one thing is certain: The insurance workforce is evolving at an unprecedented pace, and brokerages will need to lead the pack to attract and retain top-level talent.

Join Trevor Buttrum, manager of the Career Connections program at the Insurance Institute of Canada, via Zoom videoconference for an interactive discussion around emerging industry trends, the driving factors behind them, and what companies can do to prepare themselves for the HR challenges to come:

Friday May 1, 2020
9 – 10:30 a.m.

This event — presented in partnership with SGI CANADA — is FREE for IBAS members and industry stakeholders and is eligible for 1.5 continuing education (CE) credit hours. Licensees seeking CE credit must complete an online form at the end of the session to validate attendance.

Please note that given the take-up in this event and the limited capacity of the Zoom meeting room, this session is restricted to IBAS member brokers only.

DUE TO DEMAND THAT EXCEEDED OUR VIDEOCONFERENCING CAPACITY, THIS SECOND SESSION IS NOW OPEN TO REGISTRATION. YOU MAY ONLY RECEIVE CE HOURS FROM ONE OF THE TWO SESSIONS (APRIL 29 OR MAY 1). IF YOU REGISTERED FOR THE APRIL 29 SESSION BUT WOULD PREFER TO ATTEND THE MAY 1 SESSION INSTEAD, PLEASE CONTACT JORDAN.JENSEN@IBAS.CA
