The third annual #BrokersCare Day in Saskatchewan takes place on Friday, October 13, 2023!

This special day is an opportunity to come together with P&C insurance brokers and industry colleagues from across the province to celebrate the vital role brokers play in strengthening the communities in which they live and serve — all while supporting the #BrokersCare Community Fund.

Whether you are attending the 2023 IBAS Convention & AGM, are working from your home or office, or are away on holidays, we want you to get involved! On October 13, here’s how:

1. Wear your #BrokersCare t-shirt with pride

Throw on your 2023 #BrokersCare t-shirt. Don't have one? There's no better time to purchase yours. Each shirt is $39.99 plus tax and — thanks to our good friends at Wawanesa Insurance — shipping within Canada is included, and 100% of the purchase price goes directly to support youth-based organizations and grassroots projects in Saskatchewan through the #BrokersCare Community Fund.

2. Post on social media

Post a photo or comment on Twitter (or 'X'), Instagram, LinkedIn, or Facebook using the hashtag #BrokersCare (click on the corresponding links to IBAS's accounts). Your post can include a remark about the #BrokersCare initiative, the important role of insurance brokers in your community, or a photo of you and your colleagues wearing your #BrokersCare t-shirts — the sky is the limit. Feel free to get creative!

3. Do good for a cause you care about

For every post and repost using the hashtag #BrokersCare on social media, you will receive one entry into a draw to win a $1,000 cash donation to the eligible not-for-profit or local cause of your choice!

 4. Win great prizes

Each social media post with a #BrokersCare hashtag will also enter you into our grand prize draw to win one of two $500 gift certificates to your favourite local business — along with draws for other awesome IBAS and #BrokersCare swag.
