Exams can be registered in two ways.
IBAS Member Exams
For IBAS Members, please navigate to the IBAS EduHub to access the Auto Part I, Auto Part II, General Bylaws, Auto Bylaws, Fundamentals of Insurance, and CAIB New Edition 1.0 exams and courses.

CAIB (2011) Edition and Non-Member Exams
For CAIB (2011 Edition) exams, or non member, or to register for a an online exam, please follow the steps below.
- Go to the exam page below on our website that you need to register for.

General Bylaws: https://www.ibas.ca/GICS-bylaws.html
Fundamentals of Insurance: https://www.ibas.ca/fundamentals-of-insurance.html
CAIB: https://www.ibas.ca/caib.html - Scroll to the bottom and have them click on the ‘Self-Study – Exam Name’ option.
- On the next page, select the correct exam from the list and click ‘Register Now’.
- This will prompt you to create a guest account or log in to an existing account. Follow the instructions to log in or create a guest account.
- Once logged in, you will be brought to the registration page. Confirm that your information is correct and click ‘Submit’.
- Once registered, go to the ‘My Courses’ page, located in a list on the right-hand side of the webpage.
- On the ‘My Courses’ page, the Course will be listed in a courses table, and there will be a link to click to register for the exam.
- Click the link and follow steps one and two listed on that page to register for the exam.
- Step 1 will be the online exam registration, where you will enter your information and pay for the exam.
- Step 2 is the required proctor form that must be submitted to the IBAS office unless you select to write the exam at the IBAS office.
- Both of the above steps must be completed a minimum of 3 business days prior to the chosen exam date.
