Job Description / Duties

PCCU Insurance is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the permanent part-time role of Insurance Office Manager for our Harris location. The Insurance Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations, to include the management of office staff, and to provide advice and solutions to clients to meet their insurance needs. While insurance industry experience is preferable, we are willing to train, develop, and mentor the right candidate who is a solid fit for the role and our organization.

Qualifications / Required Skills

CAIB 3 or 4 (Canadian Accreditation Insurance Broker) preferred, or commitment to achieve.
Post-secondary education in a related field and/or insurance industry designations are an asset.
3-5 years of insurance related experience preferred.
Commercial insurance experience is an asset.
Proven record of achieving sales/growth goals and targets

Expertise within a wide range of insurance products
• Provide optimum member service by promoting and delivering insurance advice, products, and services in order to meet sales targets
• Identify member needs and present appropriate solutions/strategies to meet the assessed needs
• Conduct sales calls for new business and making timely renewal calls for existing customer business
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, but also as part of an effective team
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude while displaying a high level of professionalism
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, problem solving, and numeric reasonability skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to relate, compare, and analyze data
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
