IBAS, Hospitality Saskatchewan team up to provide new mental health resources to tourism and restaurant workers
IBAS is contributing $9,100 to develop and deliver new, short-term mental health resources to support the province’s hard-hit tourism and food services sectors. The funds will be used to offer specialized education and enhanced access to individual coaching.

Two more #BrokersCare grants announced
IBAS announced today it has awarded two additional grants as part of its 2021 #BrokersCare Campaign for Mental Health: $1,250 to the Queen City United Soccer Club to support mental health first aid training for its athletes and coaches, and $1,322 to fund a targeted project at the Westcliffe Community School in the town of Marengo.

IBAS unveiled today a new partnership with upstart not-for-profit Sask Girls United to deliver a series of four mental wellness and peer support seminars to girls aged 8 – 14, focused on social media, empowerment, healthy relationships, and personal confidence.

IBAS #BrokersCare campaign donates $2,800 to Envision Counselling and Support Centre Inc.
These funds will be used to purchase the technology required to deliver HIPA-compliant virtual counselling, crisis intervention, education, and therapeutic support services to clients throughout the southeast corner of the province.

IBAS, West Coast Training renew CAIB partnership through 2023
IBAS has reached an agreement with West Coast Training (WCT) and long-time instructor Todd Hochban to continue delivering CAIB Immersion courses to Saskatchewan brokers through the summer of 2023. Beginning this August, IBAS will also offer members access to free monthly study sessions.

2020 IBAS Charity Campaign raises $52,500 for STARS air ambulance
IBAS announced today it has raised a grand total of $52,500 for STARS air ambulance through the 2020 IBAS Charity Campaign. This contribution will fund roughly 10 patient missions across Saskatchewan, including medical and aviation crew, medical supplies, and fuel.
