A record 152 golfers converged on The Legends Golf Club in Warman on Tuesday, June 13, for the 2023 IBAS Golf Tournament, presented by Midwest Claims Services.

The event sold out within 72 hours of launching registration earlier this spring — and it didn't disappoint. Additionally, 16 of the 19 hole sponsors (including the putting green) were setup on-site to network with golfers and get in on the fun.

There was a two-way tie for first place. Based on retrogressive scoring, the winning foursome was:

• Sarah Johnston, Johnston Insurance Brokers;
• Rick Baylak, SGI CANADA;
• Dave Pettigrew, Harvard Western Insurance; and
• Brent Dueck, SGI CANADA.

Through the generous contributions of our members and partners, the IBAS Emerging Brokers Council also raised close to $3,440 in support of the 2023 #BrokersCare Campaign. If you haven't done so already, be sure to purchase your campaign t-shirt — we are already running low on certain sizes.
